Two apps. The mobile app is for parents and teachers. SMS Gateway stays on the school phone.

After the download
Android asks a few permissions the first time you install an APK. Do these once on that phone.
1.Turn off Play Protect
Play Store can block the install. Turn the scan off before you open the APK.
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Play Protect, then the settings gear.
- Turn off Scan apps with Play Protect.
2.Open the downloaded file
Tap the download notification, or open Files and then Downloads, and tap the APK.
3.Allow install from this source
If Android asks, tap Settings on that message and allow installs for Chrome or the Files app. Then return and tap Install.
4.Turn Play Protect back on
After the app opens, go back to Play Protect settings and turn Scan apps with Play Protect on again.
SMS Gateway also needs SMS permission, and the app should stay open while the school sends messages. Parents and teachers sign in to EduPak with the account the school created.
